Regalia is a bespoke Italian luxury kitchen created for an elegant private residence in Lagos, Nigeria, where classical architecture, refined proportions and precious decorative finishes come together in a sophisticated interior. Designed as an integral part of the residence, the kitchen combines timeless Italian style with the functionality required for contemporary luxury living.
The composition is defined by soft ivory cabinetry enriched with delicate gold detailing, sculpted decorative elements and refined architectural mouldings. Framed doors, classical pilasters and ornamental capitals create a sense of symmetry and permanence, while the light palette enhances the spaciousness and luminosity of the room.
Natural stone plays an important role throughout the project. Used for the worktops, backsplash and central island, its warm tones complement the ivory cabinetry and gold accents, creating a harmonious and elegant material palette. The polished flooring continues this refined aesthetic, reflecting light across the room and reinforcing the sense of grandeur.
At the centre of the kitchen, the large bespoke island becomes both a practical workspace and a decorative focal point. Its panelled fronts, gilded medallions and sculpted corner details demonstrate the precision of Italian handcrafted furniture production, while the generous stone surface provides space for preparation, serving and informal gathering.
The main cabinetry wall is designed as a balanced architectural composition, integrating the cooking area, storage and display elements within a classical framework. Appliances and functional components are incorporated discreetly into the furniture, preserving the visual continuity and elegance of the interior.
The adjoining dining area follows the same design language, with coordinated furniture, soft upholstery and refined decorative accents. Crystal lighting, elegant drapery and ornamental wall panels complete the space, creating a seamless transition between kitchen, dining and formal entertaining areas.
This project reflects the philosophy of the Modenese bespoke interior design service, where every element is developed according to the architecture of the residence and the preferences of the client.
