Majestic is an exceptional bespoke kitchen project created for a private residence in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where refined Italian design meets the richness of premium natural materials and traditional craftsmanship. Conceived as a prestigious architectural composition, the kitchen combines warm wood tones, contrasting dark veneers, black marble and elaborate gold detailing in a highly decorative yet balanced interior.
The cabinetry is defined by rich natural wood finishes enhanced with dark striped veneers, fine inlays and hand-finished ornamental details. The composition has a strong architectural presence, with framed panels, decorative pilasters and carefully articulated cornices creating a sense of rhythm, symmetry and permanence throughout the space.
Gold accents play a central role in the design. Sculpted friezes, rosettes, decorative bands and metal details introduce a distinctive sense of opulence, while remaining fully integrated into the cabinetry. These elements are carefully crafted to emphasize the classical character of the kitchen and highlight the precision of Italian artisanal workmanship.
Dark marble worktops provide an elegant counterpoint to the warmth of the wood. Their expressive surface creates depth and contrast, while bespoke backsplashes, decorative metal screens and illuminated display cabinets add further layers of material richness. Integrated lighting enhances the cabinetry, glass-fronted storage and carefully curated decorative elements.
At the heart of the room, the large curved island becomes a sculptural focal point. Its elaborate wood marquetry, contrasting veneers and gilded decorative band demonstrate the level of detail possible through custom handcrafted furniture production in Italy. The island combines generous preparation and serving surfaces with integrated storage, bringing functionality into a composition designed to make a strong visual statement.
The main cabinetry wall follows the same sophisticated language, with symmetrical display sections, bespoke storage and a monumental central feature. Appliances, sinks and functional elements are incorporated discreetly into the furniture so that the overall composition retains the elegance of a fully designed interior rather than appearing as a conventional fitted kitchen.
This project reflects the philosophy of the Modenese bespoke interior design service, where every kitchen is developed around the architecture of the residence and the lifestyle of the client.
From the first sketches and technical development to the selection of woods, marbles, decorative finishes and custom details, each element is conceived as part of one coherent interior.
The furniture is handcrafted in Italy by skilled Italian artisans, combining traditional cabinetmaking techniques with precise contemporary production.
Premium materials, specialist veneers, decorative carving, metalwork and custom finishing are selected and executed specifically for the project.
Modenese can manage the complete process, including interior design, technical development, material selection, bespoke furniture manufacturing, project coordination, international delivery and professional installation.
This comprehensive approach ensures consistency in design and craftsmanship from the initial concept in Italy to the completed residence in Jeddah.
Majestic represents a distinctive expression of Italian luxury in Saudi Arabia: precious wood, black marble, elaborate gold decoration and master craftsmanship brought together in a bespoke kitchen of exceptional character.
